I think the black range is definitely the piece de resistance in the Room of the Week, and the designer made it extra special with the patterned wallpaper and the tile backdrop.
That particular oven is a famous French stove, a Cluny-1000 from Lacanche. Here she is in all her black and brass glory.
In the past decade or so appliances in any color other than stainless steel have definitely been put on the back burner (pun intended!). But, I put together some images of kitchens with black appliances to hopefully convince you that they are a modern and sleek option that looks great in a variety of kitchen styles.
