Piece de Resistance: Luxurious Light Wood

I love the beautiful light wood floors in the Room of the Week.  You don’t see a lot of homes here in the United States with light hardwood floors.  The trend has always been to have darker wood floors.  But, it’s more popular in other countries and for good reason.  It really helps to reflect light, so if you live in an area that doesn’t get as much sunlight, or if your home is in a shady location it could really help to brighten up your home.  And, the floors also seem to fade away and let the other furniture in the room really shine.
