Piece de Resistance: Textile Wall Hanging

I think the textile pieces hanging in the Room of the Week are so unique, and their tactile quality makes you want to stop to look a little closer. Of course, they are the piece de resistance, given my love for hanging textiles on walls.

Hanging textiles has become a little trendy recently…mostly of the yarn or macrame variety.  But, there are so many textiles that look beautifully hung on the wall…embroidery, tea towels and quilts to name a few.  I put together some scenarios to show you how hanging textiles could work with a variety of styles.
