I love the white pendant lamps above the dining table in the Room of the Week. It’s the gold inside (and their size) that really take them from boring white shade to stunning. I had a brown leather lampshade with a gold interior that was looking outdated and sad, so I recently painted the outside gray…I love the way it looks lit up at night. It glows! And, if the weather would’ve cooperated I would’ve shown you a picture…if it’s sunny later today I’ll update the post.
I spent way to much time trying to source the actual light in the room, but wasn’t successful. However, I did find several good options to buy, and some pretty good DIY options as well (one using paint, one using gold leaf, and one using a gold-lined bowl).
