Piece de Resistance: The Sectional Sofa

The beautiful blue sectional in the Room of the Week is such a great piece of furniture for a family room.  It provides enough seating for everyone at the same time, and also helps to make the room feel cozier.  Instead of pushing the sectional into a corner, try floating the sectional in the room (just like in the Room of the Week)…the back of the sofa will create a little barrier, and instantly make the room feel more comfortable.

There are tons of sectional options…every style, every color, and in lots and lots of different sizes.  So, if your room is big or small there is a sectional that will fit perfectly.

Do you love or loathe sectionals?

I used to think they were too bulky.  But after listening to my kids fight daily for room on the sofa, and with all the beautiful options available….I’ve definitely changed my mind and I’m dreaming of having one in my own family room.
